Bug when saving during Forge of Virtue

I searched on the boards and couldn't find anything pertaining to this bug. It occurs when you're doing the Forge of Virtue quest of the game. Everytime I get to the Isle of Fire and go through with the three quests and get the daemon sword and save the game Exult crashes if I try to load that save game back up. Any ideas why this happens? Any help is appreciated.
