Hi there, thanks for reading/responding. Two different, yet quite obviously related questions, please.
Question the first: In my exult.cfg file, there is absolutely no location specifying the location of saved games. Searching the file for "save" only results in finding "save_compression_level". "Path" yields similar results; nothing useful. Now, I definitely have games saved .. somewhere. I just have no idea where they are. O.o
The second: Would it even be feasible to transfer a saved game saved outside of SI Fixes into a SI Fixes game? I started without them, just opened the wall of lights, and realized that dumping a special bucket of water onto Cantra's head won't do nearly as much as I would have hoped.
Totally forgot which bucket too, so I'm dumping all of my buckets of water onto her head. (Aside: There are no bathtubs in Serpent Isle. Or Britannia.)
I mean obviously there are other reasons to continue in SI Fixes mode/mod, but .. buckets.
Default save game location?

Eh, found it.
Okay, apparently, it's C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Exult\serpentisle on my machine. Certainly good to know. So the question remains, is such a save file transferrable? We'll see!
Re: Default save game location?
We do write in the documentation where savegames are stored. Your operating system is also something we'd have needed to know, btw.
You can transfer the saves I'm just not sure how well that works in the longterm. In the shortterm it helps when testing things.
SI fixes is broken, atm since you can't cure Gwenno which is a plot stopper, I think
