Windows ExultStudio

Post by Valliant Dragon »

Okay theres a communication problem with the Windows build of ExultStudio (This is with Release Candidate 1). Upon trying to get the static files from the server (Exult), it errors out saying

"Unable to create mailslot C:\UC\ULTIMA7\STATICS"

Looks like C++ hates you :-)

On the topic of Windows ExultStudio, I have an early version of my front-end for IPack, if anyone's interested in seeing it or the code. Just send me a line and Ill send it along. (Its in Basic, in case anyone's wondering)

Thanks,

I'll look into it. It's obvious that the directory should be static, not statics

Could be my fault, although an fgrep for 'statics' didn't find anything.

I should warn that I'm doing a lot of work on ExultStudio now, so there's a good possibility things could be broken.

Progress is always good. How about posting snapshot code in the cvs? (or is the mapeditor directory that?) I could possibly take a peek and see if I can help :-)

Yes, Exult Studio is in the mapedit directory.
