GOG vs Original

Post by Postal83 »

So, maybe I'm completely mistaken here, but I could swear in the original version of BG, the key is hidden under the bucket in the stables. I got BG/SI on GOG and the key is just next to his body.

Is this how it is in the original as well??

The GOG version is exactly the same as the last version of Ultima VII The Black Gate and Serpent Isle. There are no changes.

Yeah... you know what I think I'm confusing it for? The bucket of blood in Morfin's butcher shop.

the original subtitle for the black gate was bucket of blood.

Good thing they didn't stick with that. It would have made the end scene considerably less impressive, and quite messy.

I searched the net and found an early box art for the Bucket of Blood

HAH! I will admit after the 'goody goody' atmosphere of 4/5/6, the first time I saw the murder scene in Trinsic I knew 7 was gonna be an awesome 'WTF?' experience..

Now if they would have only made an Ultima 7.25: Spark's revenge, where Spark goes on an anti-Fellowship rampage during the Avatar's exploits on Serpents Isle. Hmm... perhaps THAT is what Christopher's ghost was warning us about....

@ Dominus...

Oh my god! That forced a spit take.

I am sorely tempted to get myself a t-shirt made with that beauty.
