What is the arch user repository?

What OS are you installing this on?

It should be http://exult.info/docs.php#path_config_nix to make it work automagically but you can always just place them anywhere and point at the files via .exult.cfg http://exult.info/docs.php#exult_config_location

Edit: make sure thatthe files are either fully upper or lowercase, not mixed since Exult has a problem on case sensitive filesystems with mixedcase gamedata.

Oh and if you got it from a repository you might have an ancient release intead of the last rc1. I'd recommend ubuilding the latest svn of Exult.
