Hey i finally got my exult studio running again thank you again BC, anyway ur all probaly wonding y i called this meeting... yup i have no cluse at to start the usercode thing i went on the ES for dumies thing... man i'm one of those people who should get a how to understand a for dummies sight for dummies, sorry bout the humor, i'm trying to make the usecode text thing like it said when making an npc so made text document and then put in the "Barking" chaning thr name and id number to my new npc's and went to save all and compile and it said it couldn't find my usercode.uc but it was right freaking in the patch folder any help would be nice useful and appreciated

The problem is you are reading it wrong. It's usecode, not usercode. Check your filenames.

In your first post, you mention a file called "usercode.uc". I am supposing the tutorial meant it to be "usecode.uc" instead, as the search feature on the ESGuides page does not find "usercode.uc" at all, but finds "usecode.uc" precisely in the compiling tutorial.

That's all I can do to help you, given the information you provided. If you give a better description of your situation, the problem and other things, some more people might be able to help you. That last post does not help me on helping you, and I am assuming it does not help others either...
