No caps in savegame names?

Post by Gotcha! »

I'm trying out your latest snapshot and it appears you can't use capital letters in savegame names anymore. Was this intended?

Also, the Speed option defaults at 5, but after changing it you can't set it back to 5. It'll scroll through 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10, the 5 is gone.

I noted the missing caps as well. Gonna need to investigate…
We might have always skipped five? Need to investigate ;)

Hmm, apparently it does, but only in the main menu. Once in-game 5 is definitely gone.

ahhhh, got it. When you scroll through it, it will always show the value it is currently set at. That's why it showed me the 5 all the time. Easy to add the 5 in code.

I found the culprit of the capital letters missing but I'm not succeeding in fixing it :(

Marzo fixed the capital letters. But he fixed it better after the automatic snapshot was done, so, while it works now, best use next night's snapshot :)
That one will also have the 5 FPS fix

I uninstalled Exult/Studio and installed the latest versions, and I dunno what to tell you. :)

(For clarity, this is when in TBG. Adjusting this from the main menu works fine, although I'm actually not sure -if- it works fine, since TBG's menu still shows 6 fps when selecting 5 in the main menu. I didn't test SI yet.)

Capital letters work though, thanks! Not being able to capitalize words does bad things to me. :D

The snapshot in question has not been uploaded to the SF page yet 🤷‍♂️
The snapshots are automatically released nightly (when there were code changes) on github, but need to be manually copied over…
