Hallelujah!

Post by XNateV »

By jove, it works!

Thanks to the entire team for your hard work, I do have quick question though. Should there be a red X through the icons to the left of the game names in the Exult menu? Both play perfectly. Better than, actually.

if you have the X's in the menu next to games names then it means you dont have the sound files.
download the soundpacks or if you already have, change the paths in the exult.cfg in your exult folder.

Ah, how convenient. Just finished downloading the packs as you replied, and just booted it up. Yay! I'm off to play Ultima 7, see you in a few years. Thanks!

I'd just like to say a really, really big thankyou to the team. We all played Ultima 7 for years back when the games came out. But as PCs got faster and Windows became the norm it became less and less possible.

I stubbled across a post about Exult today on Retrogames and I couldn't believe my eyes. Got out my Ultima7 CD (which hasn't been played for years) and half an hour later there it is.

My deepest thanks for your efforts. The Ultima 7 games are among the finest games of their genre ever released on any system. Thanks to your efforts hopefully they will be enjoyable for many more people in the future.
