u7bg - parrot pirate treasure - rings

This is really bugging me now. Does anyone know how to get at those two rings (invis, regen) across the water in the pirate's hideout (169s, 28e). This is the cave that the parrot tells you about when you hit them it with a gavel. Any help is appreciated.

This is an Exult bug which I've already written up on the buglist. They were getable in the original, but not now. I've noticed Exult has some slight differences from the original over how boundaries are handled, and this is probably one of them. You'll have to use hackmover if you really want to get them.

As I recall, the original also had issues here. You had to be standing in the right place in order to pick up some of the items.
