Re: Does anyone know the exact trigger for Madrake salt tide
I've been playing the original on my 486, and yes, Baccus (I didn't realize that was his name! He says that he has foregone his name in the original) told me that the roots were available after waiting a little while. I believe that I asked him once, wandered around for a bit, came back, wandered ar...

Ah - thanks for the replies so far folks. I will start hunting through the source files and tracing out execution - even I just manage to transmit the *tiniest* bit of data between a client-server setup (ie. party position, updated via the existing handlers), I would be satisfied. As I said before, ...

Nobody with insights on the source tree? I'd really love to get going on this project. Since I'll be working on this alone, obviously I won't be making this the most complex patch - just some simple network code.

Hi folks. I've spent some time searching the forums for all of the 'u7 online' threads - so excuse this post if I've glossed over anything. Howdy folks. Apologies if this is a little too off-topic, but I thought it was fairly exciting news for folks (like me) that collect Ultima stuff. I noticed that the specs on the 770 are not *too* much different from the PSP. However, I suspect that 32Mb of system memory may not be enough. DrCode is right, sort of. You do have to have an official development kit to release official PSP apps. Of course, that hasn't stopped anyone since people have built their own (legal) development kits and toolchains by slapping together toolchains buildable on linux/cygwin/osx/etc. The PSP homebrew ...

I believe that the PSP has 32 mb of ram, although we should keep in mind that it is able to run "The Curse of Monkey Island" with scummvm, which must demand far more than that on a Windows-based machine. As a response to MV - the analog directional control on the psp (left side) makes an e...
