hello, its been a long time since I've posted here... years ago I was working on an "Ultima-esque" game in Exult and stopped after it seemed I had lost a lot of progress when my hard drive failed. The last couple of days I have been looking at some of what I had recovered and thinking that it could be possible that misplaced some of the data rather than lost it... so, I have two maps - one is a surface world, the other is an underground/cavern map. I figure I have outright lost a lot of what was my latest progress on both maps, and thought I had lost the underground map - but then I realized that all the shapes that I placed (tables, chairs, additional walls, etc..) are still there, and it might actually be just the chunks that are missing...
Can anyone tell me where would the data for the chunks on a map be stored, vs where the shapes are stored? since I have one and not the other I wonder if maybe the files that place my chunks just didn't end up in the right spot and maybe I have a version of that floating around somewhere, but what would the file be called?
I don't know if I would ever get back to work on this game, but like to think that I might if I did not have to redo quite so much.

Re: custom map missing details
Heya!
We do have a version of your mod archived on our download page. Is it that one or did you do another mod?
You have 5 different maps (including the default one).
The chunks are all the same for a game, only the placement of the chunks is different per map and saved in the u7ifixnn files.
