The Guardian`s dentist

Did anyone notice the gaurdians teeth n u9 and u7? In u7 his teeth in crooked and broken but in u9 his teeth are straight and pearly white.I wonder who is his dentist?

Another thing I noticed is that in the U7 intro, the Guardian's teeth are red. In the endgame, his teeth are white.

He probably decided to use dentures since his teeth had long decayed.

Haven't taken one of the Guardian's teeth in U9 though, will soon.

Did his teeth ever show in UW2? I know that his mug appeared a couple of times, but I can't remember if his mouth was open.

If it is indeed an Avatar/Guardian amalgam, I think that last picture shows that he inherited the Avatars pearly whites

Actually, the Avatar/Guardian hybrid/clone looks very much like Diablo.

Well the Avatar/Guardian hybrid is the fusion of the Avatar and the Guardian. At the end of U9, the Avatar merged himself with the Guardian and ascended into the void to end his threat to Britannia.

According to the UXO story, they are now one being and fighting for control over itself. The Avatar/Guardian hybrid is this being.

Nice stuff about the Guardian, Dino. One slight criticism is that you omit totally the events of UW2 in the History Of The Guardian section.

Oh, you're perfectly right. I unfortunately can't run UW2 so I never had the honour of playing that game.

If you or someone else could fill me in on what happened in UW2, I'll gladly add it to the history of the Guardian. OK, I know that the Guardian imprisoned Castle British in a blackrock dome, but I need more detail as to what happened exactly, the new stuff that was discovered about him, etc.

It would be nice if everyone posts what he knows so that I'd be able to take the best of each person's knowledge.

I think the enchanted scroll with the message in SI was "recorded" before the Guardian attempted to go through the black gate.

My theory is: His teeth are red in BG and Yellow in SI because he doesn't brush his teeth, and they show color from food stains from his last meal. They rot and his dentist had to remove them all and put some dental prothesis.

Of course. In fact, it is addressed to Batlin, so Batlin had already heard the message before the Black Gate was destroyed.

Although I know you aren't serious, I could add this as a humorous theory to try and explain why his teeth keep changing colour.

Maybe the guardian has uses a double/standin like in the movies or maybe he discovered the secret of acne medication from SI which he uses for his theeth

Next thing I'll do is use the couple of amusing theories here to explain his change of teeth in each game.

Dino, just wanted to let you know, whit Dosbox you can play Ultima Underworld already. Not sure though if it works with the latest release (0.58 or somtehing like that) but it definitely works with the source.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I remember correctly, I had tried DOSBox some time ago but I couldn't get it to work. But then again, I'm usually not very good at getting things to work (I sometimes can't even get my own scripts to work :p), so I may as well try again.
