buy without paying

Hello, i'm playing exult 1.5.x (2013-01-20) on Windows XP (SP3) with a NVIDIA 9800 GTX video card.
The problem i encountered is that when i buy goods in Trinsic (for example from Dell, the provisioner, or the sextant from Gargan) no money is subtracted from my gold, so i can buy everything without actually pay. Later in the game this bug disappeared and everything seems to cost the right price again.
I've got a savegame when this bug always appear but i cannot find it anywhere on my HD ! Where could it be ? (i did not change the exult.cfg)
And if i find it, how can i attach it to the post ?

Ah ah ! Sorry for the thread title, i could really find a clearer one !
I found those savegames and i put the one with the "buy without paying" bug in it here :

It is necessary to come back to Trinsic before the shop closes (it was the only save i had to reproduce the bug), but it is also possible to use the healer services, who is always open, to test the bug.
I forgot to mention that i'm using the last version of the Keyring Mod (0.11.26), if this can help.

It's important to know whether you are using lock stock BG or keyring mod
Turns out that Gargan selling you the sextants for free is a usecode bug. Apparently this happened in the original as well, but no one noticed since he *checks* whether you have enough money, but doesn't take it...

I couldn't reproduce with the healer. he takes my money. But I'll give it a try with the keyring mod.

Edit: indeed, with the keyring mod the healer services are free (and other problems with the healers).

A bug i found the other day with forge of virtue: when talking to the second golem (the smart one) after having resurrected him, if you don't have the books he refers to, but you answer Yes to having them, the conversation will assume you have the books and everything will seem fine. The tree won't give a heart however when you use the pick on it and you'll be stuck.

Don't know if this is known.

By the way, I read somewhere that you guys have been working hard on exult lately? I'm always excited to find a new version and replay the game again! Any sort of update you can give us? (I enjoy reading about exult)

Yeah, lots of stuff have been going on on the snapshots. Even 1.4.9rc1 is ancient now.

I just read a huge portion of the changelog, started from october 2010. That's more "progress update" than anything I could wish for. It's interesting what kind of problems you have to deal with. Thank you Marzo, Dominik, Manor, Willem Jan and Ryan! (and anyone I may have missed)
