Using the Music in a remake

Post by Thepal »

Hi,

You might have seen my Serpent Isle remake using the Oblivion engine ( www.etherealsoftware.com.au/ultima ). Since I'm doing the project on my own I need to find resources wherever I can to keep development time fast. I was wondering if you (the Exult team/whoever is in charge of music) would mind me using your music files for my remake? It would be extremely helpful as they are high quality and it would save me a lot of time.

Thanks,

Thepal

1st of all I don't think anyone is against you using them. Apparently the music pack is unlicensed...
BUT Jaesun wanted to make a more correct recording of the MT32 soundtrack and that will be much better for your use and would be easier to ask the one doing the recordings ;) see http://exult.info/forum/viewtopic.php?p=354832#p354832

Yeah my recordings are still WIP. It may be a while. Those pesky reverb SYSEX are hair ripping at times...
