lucky = +3 to hit; always hits = always hits (duh).

Lowdown for warmth:
You'll definitely want fur cloak, boots, and hat. Beyond that, keeping your magic armor on is good. Otherwise, avoid metal armor and go with leather instead. Thus, it would be a good idea to keep 4-5 sets of leather leggings, armor, and gloves in a chest somewhere.
There's also a second frame to leather gloves, and this one offers 20 warmth. I don't know if they can be found in-game or not. I also don't know what the required warmth is to avoid hypothermia (maybe someone else can chime in on that)

Few more things: (each point pertains to both SI and BG unless otherwise noted)

--The "Cure" and "Mass Cure" spells, in addition to curing poison, also removed paralysis. It does not however cure charm or curse.
--Red Potions, in addition to curing poison, also remove paralysis, curse, and charm.
--In SI, glittering blue potions cause curse.
--Restoration has the effects of both the Great Heal and Cure spells on the entire party. That is to say, HP will be restored to full, and poison and paralysis will be removed, but not charm or curse.

So the bottom line, it would seem, is that red potions are better than cure spells.
