I found 20 burst and 20 lucky arrows in Alagner's locked up house. Apparently there are 'love' arrows as well (from what I've read in the other threads). You can also find Starbursts here and there, as well as glass swords. Smokebombs too, and the musket gun. The cannon...you can buy the powder key but no cannonballs IIRC, so there is a limit to the number of times you can shoot it too.
Are these items just limited rare finds or is it possible to get more of them from somewhere? Its a shame really, they're so rare you don't even want to use them!

Love arrows are in the dungeon north of britain.
The only "rare" item I used in the black gate was one glass sword on the dragon in the courage test on the isle of fire.
