I just thought about this:
What if they call their lawyers and make you rename Exult because they now have a copyright on that name? Would it be possible for them to do that? I fear so, but maybe they don't (yet) know about this project...

You can't copyright a name.

You can trademark it, but trademarks generally make a difference between what field the trademark is in. It's very unlikely that a trademark for a perfume will clash with one for a computer program.
