Sounds like you fixed your problem, so I'm kind of too little too late on this, but you don't take Gwenno's body to Monk Isle yourself. Using the hourglass is the Isle of Crypts next to Gwenno's body summons Thoxa and she takes Gwenno away herself.

Well, for what it's worth I like the DS engine. I can already see what the Serpent Isle looks like in exult, and Lazarus has definitely replaced SI as my favorite Ultima game of all time.

So, I just attempted to make a new 'faces.vga' file with ipack and noticed that the palette on EVERY single file I've created is totally screwed up for some reason. For the record, using a different picture for already finished portarits isn't a priority for me. I'll go back over some of them later for sure, definitely Shamino.

Ok, I'm mad. Apparently FileZilla doesn't like directories with a lot of files in them. I switched clients and BOOM, no problem. I swapped the slashes, hope everybody can see it fine now. There is apparently something badly wrong with my files or directory structure. Every time I upload a 'faces' directory it completely fails to ever let me in again. I can access every file and directory in four different upload spaces except for 'faces' and any file inside that directory.

I think I've managed to get at the data on my hard drive. I'm looking at it all right now, and I'm going to try and back it up before I repartition my drive and start over.

So, my hard drive appears to be totally dead. I have a lot of my data backed up, but most of my recent progress on the faces is probably gone. I'm going to try some more recovery options (I know what I'm doing here) but I fully expect to lose all of my recent changes that I hadn't posted yet. Bummer.

As I understand it, NO. Because Exult isn't a game itself, it plays two other games inside it. Unless you can legally install Ultima 7 on your IPhone, then there are no source files for Exult to read. Theoretically Exult itself could be ported onto anything, but it wouldn't have any games to run. If...

If you open Exult Studio and navigate to the map image in Sprites.vga (either in the main game, or your favorite mod) you can right click on the image and select "Import frame..." from there just choose whichever map image you want and save the changes and exit Exult Studio. Don't worry ab...

Moving the Despise egg from the Sphere dungeon to the real Despise is pretty easy. It's usecode 0x621 for the egg, and quality 10 for Despise. There don't seem to be any party interjection tags for Wrong, Shame or Hythloth. Qualities 1,2,3 & 8 all seem to be blank so maybe the missing dungeons c...

I just tooled around *ACTUAL* Despise for a minute. There are several teleporters that take you to some interesting locations. A couple of them do wind up in the Sphere Dungeon, but just as many wind up in other random spots. I guess that can just be a random annoyance. I'll look at doing some dialo...

The Sphere dungeon is *supposed* to be Shame but it's not. That's where Shame is in every other Ultima. Origin just made a mistake with U7 and swapped Shame and Despise. Any in-game reference to Despise means the Sphere dungeon by Lost Lake. I'm pretty sure any maps or walkthroughs will refer to it ...
