I don't actually have an IRC app on my computer anymore because the old one I use doesn't work on Win10, and unfortunately that's where I'm stuck most of the time due to day job requirements. But if someone has a recommendation for something that works on Win10, I can drop in when I have the time :)

I kind of disappeared into a new job at a print shop and it kind of consumed my life, but with COVID19 going on here, I have some free time on my hands, so I wanted to at least rehabilitate/fix/whatever things here so people can prod around with what we'd gotten done here.

Normally, there shouldn't be, if you used the installer.

But ... that thing is (as you can likely see) quite old. It looks like it's not finding a .vga file that it's looking for, but they should all be there, unless the arrangement/organization changed.

At the risk of some EXTREME thread necromancy, Since this seems to have come up a fair bit - I created the intro screen for TFL in Photoshop. I indexed the colours according to those in the intro palette and then saved it using Indexed Colour, and converted it to a shape using one of the many tools....

It *is* a little iffy that you can roll the carpet up when items are on top of the carpet, probably should disallow it and flash BLOCKED. But Im sure Marzo's already thought of that and its on his todo list :)

That's new since I messed with paperdolls then. Does it work for helmets? I'm guessing not?

You can edit the raw item data with a hex editor as a workaround but its a real pain.

Hmm. I THINK the combat toggle code is hardcoded into the engine, which is why the usecode isnt really doing much. A workaround might be to attach usecode to the avatar/party members to check if it's equipped on occassion. That would involve a lot of overhead however. I'm not sure, other than that. ...

Crowley: A great starting point would be faces for the balrons I have in the game. Shape wise (as in the NPC/monster shape) I figure them as blue winged gargoyles but I really want them to look kind of differentish in some non-specific way to make it clear they're *not* gargoyles. The entire /tfl/src/spells tree is neccesary for the spells to work. It would not be difficult to section out the healing specific stuff, but this would be redundant for TFL since we have redone all of the spells.
