I've been playing through SI with 0.99.2CVS (the stable binary snapshot from the 15th, I think), and noticed that if I save after killing Draygan, I won't be able to load that savegame. Saving after putting him to sleep will still load, but if I land a killing blow that's when it starts. Just wanting to know if this problem is limited to me or not, so here's a savegame, if anyone wants to try.

I'm currently using the 13-6-2002 1.0.x snap and it works fine for me.

I tried killing him and saving straight away, the game was able to be reloaded fine.

I then tried killing him and talking to the dude and gave his orb back and then saved, and the game reloaded fine.

It's interesting to use other people's saved games and see how they play the game.

I have a predisposition to ranged combat. =)

Well I just went back to RC1, killed the guy, saved, updated back to the current binary snapshot and all is well. Since things seems to be fine for MV, it's probably just my fault, whatever I did, heh.

Well gee whiz. I could load the RC1 save fine but saving and loading again kills it.

Very strange. But it seems something was fixed down the line as the snap I used had no problems.

I meant that I could load the RC1 save in the latest binary snapshot but saving and loading again kills it, sorry. I tried every snapshot I had back to May 18th and they all don't work for me. Again, RC1 seems to work fine, though. Weird, huh?

Man, it would be great if I could just edit posts instead of making new ones. Anyhow, RC2 works fine as well. Kudos to you guys for putting together great Release Candidates.
