i forgot to pick up the serpentine dagger and the murder site in minoc. i went back to get it and the bodies were gone along with the dagger. i need the dagger to progress. what do i do? anyone know? can i get any serpentine dagger to work and if so where is it? thanks.

I think any serpentine dagger suffices, but i'm not sure, best go back to an earlier savegame. Remember to save often! You are not limited on how many savegames you have.

There's one on De Snel's desk, and I think there might be one in the baths at Buccaneer's Den.
