I made a Julia portrait(which any way you slice it, is better than the one before), heres a screenshot, if the team thinks its good enough to use it I'll be happy to email it in PNG format...
Hope that works!

Didn't Oblivious already make a new Julia portrait????

Yours is really good too... but I thought Julia was fat with a fat face.

Yes I've seen it. You misread my reply.

Or perhaps you missread mine, I was saying that shes definitly not fat, if you had seen the original paperdoll or the new one you'd know(I figured you were saying you used to think she was fat but don't now)...the old portrait made her look like she had a mustache.
Scary...

I like your portrait, but I don't think it's appropiate for Exult to change the actual game portraits. Adding stuff for the paperdolls is a whole other thing.
You could make your picture availlable as png and an ipack script so everyone can change his faces.vga if he likes it.

Nope.
In my first reply I meant to say "paperdoll head" instead of portrait, sorry. In the second I was referring to the portrait. She is obviously a little on the chubby side.

OOOOh. Yes...we've had a large misunderstandment then. The head he made is exceptional.

Mm... I love the portrait. I think that if a portrait in U7 sucks enough, you should be able to pop it in the game if the new one looks good.

A lot of the portraits in BG aren't very good.

Perhaps Dominus thinks Julia looks like his mother therefore, to change her portrait to a lovlier, less irish fisherman look would be a sacrilige.

Optional maybe, but definitely not a replacement.
I never pictured her looking like Rowena with a wig on, though.

Ignitus, you are being abusive.
Humour is ok, but offensive humour is out of place. If you have time to waste go and pollute the rec.games.computer.ultima.dragons newsgroup. Thankyou

Nadir, when I find someones being out of line, I become out of line because I do not like the way they treat me, If I raise the bar for them, I do not care, if I sink to their level, I do CARE, because I will not sink to their level, I will rise above their level to a new level of abuse.
Thank you very much.
P.S If I get banned for being paranoid it'll be funny won't it.

His lack of reason in not utilizing my portrait and his comments about me spamming, when he and the other mods and other PEOPLE spam much more and KNOW much less and answer MUCH less than I do, except in programming anyway.

Reason: we aren't planning on replacing art from the original.
Yes, it looks good, and, yes, you can offer this as a .shp or .png file, but, no, we won't add it to Exult.
> when he and the other mods and other PEOPLE spam much more
you're not serious here, right?
> and KNOW much less
or here...
> and answer MUCH less than I do
sorry to have to say this, but the most of us tend to only reply when we know what we're talking about and have something sensible to say. You reply to everything. Of course that means you answer more. I'll leave it up to you to decide if that's a good thing.
Consider this thread closed.

Consider this thread lodged up my ass.

Hey, I just read it and consider me really pissed at you now. Go play somewhere else.
I did say I like your portrait and I even told you how to make it easily availlable to others.
I told you and Snowy to take it easy with the spamming and if you look at it reasonably you see that you are spamming the forum. Up to now I considered your posts most of the time funny but now you've made me very angry and I really think about using my admin rights more with your posts.
And heed Nadir'S advice and post somewhere else if you want to become abusive.
Oh, last advice: never say anything bad about other people's mother.

Ignitus, you're making yourself look like an ass (that's 'donkey' for all
you Americans, I speak 'Strine *grin*). Just calm down for a moment
and consider the reasons why we code exult:
1) Fun
2) Fun
3) Did I mention fun?
They are not:
1) Laugh manically whilst denying requests to do things arbitrarily.
2) Annoying people for no particular reason.
3) Randomly harrass and abuse people on the forum.
Understand? *grin*
Calm down and relax. Until you started insulting people, the only
'gripe' any of us had about you was that you were just a _little_ more
chatty then most of the other forum members, can we keep it that
way? *grin*
