I exchanged my gold bars and nuggets at the mint. I'm supossed to get 2450 gold. Instead, when I check the Abacus I have 1351 coins (I checked the abacus before exchanging my gold and it said that I had a little more then 1000 coins

hmm, curios, part of the problem is that almost every party member is already carrying as much as they can carry before the exchange.

I know, but with previous snapshots, I never had any gold loss. In fact, as you can see I hardly am carrying anything, so I should be having most of it.

Ok, just checked and we are behaving *exactly* like the original. The money exchange is controlled by usecode and results in gold loss if there is too much to carry for one or so...
I checked with my snapshots and with exactly this savegame, the same thing happens way back in April 2010.

What *may* be different to the original is that this also fails when hackmover is enabled. Normally with hackmover on, you can carry more than you "phisically" could and anything fits into the inventory
But this intrinsic is not covered by this.

Hackmover was on (was nicking the Triple Crossbow), but I turned it immediately off, so.

What I meant was that in Exult it doesn't matter whether hackmover is enabled or not, it will always result in gold loss.
In the original it results in gold loss as well *but* enabling hackmover in the original *might* not result in gold loss.

Just checked again with the original:

hackmover disabled:
- gold loss when none of the partymembers has enough capacity to hold all the gold but enough to hold some (same with Exult)

hackmover enabled:
- no gold loss, the Avatar will jsut hold everything (not the same in Exult)
