Funniest thing in U9...

...Gwenno and the slut in Bucaneer's Den have the same bodies.

BTW - Origin/EA are inconsistent in terms of character aging. In U7SI, Gwenno is an elderly woman. In U9, she looks like about 30.

No point to get mad about it. There are too many things in life already to get mad about.

Try Gabriel Knight 3: The town must have 50 buildings, but only 5 residents. They're sometimes at work, never at home, and never walk between. And at most points in the game, only about 2 will talk to you (and in really bad fake French accents).

Other than that, it's a good game:-)

The Longest Journey had a really good cast, in my opinion. And even if you couldn't talk to anyone, the world felt populated at least :)

Hmm...

*installs TLJ again*

Since Britain has shrunk to a tiny village in U9 with only about half a dozen houses, I seriously doubt that there are still 30 people left in Britain... perhaps a dozen, at the very most.

Yes, 30 people in *all of Britainnia*, everything included... yes, that may fit for U9. And yes the probably do feel lonely. That's probably also the reason why Iolo is always up there at the second florr and drunk like hell (at least it sound like it, judging from his singing) and never down there at Gwenno.

Well, since Gwenno probably had a brush (did I see a pun coming?) with the comb of beauty, if I were Iolo, I'd be hyped up on viagra... (ahem)...

I can hear Iolo now... "Oh beautiful lady of Fawn. Please allow my ugly wife Gwenno one brush of the Comb of Beauty before we leave." The rest is history, and from the looks of things, the trip back to Britannia made the effect permanent. Oh joy!!

....The Prettiest Female Face On Serpent Isle.

My vote is for Selina.

And Gwenno in SI - yes, really ugly, while in U9 she is a pretty girlie.

But still, Iolo stays up there in his room all by himself all the time in U9, he never comes down. Who knows - perhaps he's turned impotent or gay in U9? Or perhaps he's just too drunk all the time to make it down...

Alyssad gets my vote as hottest chic in SI.
Rowen was a cute ghost in U7 BG(I like red heads)

I used to like Thoxa, but now she's just Okay.

Well, I 100% agree with fliend. :)

Iolo and SI girlies

Elissa from Silver Seed also a very, very pretty face.
The Fawn queen too.

The U7BG faces are too low-quality pictures, but the bank manager at Mint was pretty, and so was this Ukrainian-looking Lady from Serpent Hold (not Lady Tory - the unwed mother and "entertainer", but another Lady who IIRC runs the armor shop).

As about Iolo in U9 - I suspect him to be a drunkard after experience of being the Guardian's wyrmguard. This is surely Bad For Mental Health and thus can cause alcoholism.

Also - Britain in U9 is not lesser then at least Moonshade in SI (if not Britain in U7), a large town.

Mariah in U7 is kinda cute too. In Ultima 6 she was a bit homely. Mariah is at her best in the Tapestry of Ages U9. Xenthia, Lady Leah, are also very pretty. Judith is somewhat pretty but not as pretty as others mentioned.

XX or what ever you are, saying bad things about people means you yourself are even more flawed(and lonely) or you would have better things to do.

Iolo's kinda gett'n over the hill. He can't help being a bit absent minded. He was old in Black Gate so just think how old his is now! Gwenno is the puzzle. Fine cheek bones in Serpent Isle, but not to anyone's(include the old man himself) She got a body lift, though her innards are still old. That's why she won't go up and see the old man. She'll get heart failure, Emphezima, stroke and all that good stuff. In fact all of the companions are old on the inside and that's why they can't travel with the Avatar(who is biologically 25, mentally 3, and chronolagically 40-50). Mr. Sweden, 1979 is just too much for his young-to-look-at, yet elderly compagnions.

Whoa there fliend, calm down, hehe. Know a joke when ya read one ;)
Never said you were flawed. And I'm not lonely either. Doesn't take that long to post a short message on a chat board.
Anyways, sorry if you were easily offended. My most humble appologies. Can you ever forgive me?

:)

In u7? Mmmm, best portrait was Natassia.

Best character paperdoll, Julia.

Pity we couldn't go further with her in u9 though. ;)
