little things...

I just started using exult and have started both BG and SI with it and on top of being immensly impressed i have noticed a few things...

1. wearing a hood in BG gives your paperdoll a leather helmet, Although i think this may be somewhat of a feature since i dont remember ever seeing artwork for hooded heads...

2. Is it just me or does going up stairs/bridges far slower than it was in the original? it seems like it has to stop at every step for a bit before continuing?

these next two might just be my system... but im not sure

3. hot switching between scalers causes all sorts of problems... i can switch between low-res scalers fine (if i loaded the game with one) and can do the same switching between highres scalers, providing i loaded with a highres one. The problem comes when hotswitching between high-res and low-res during the game... my screen shrinks to quarter size and works fine (seemingly) except when i pull up the menu i can only see a quarter of it and cant see my mouse.

4. When loading the game in the Point scaler, the red and black swirly load screen is red and purple... is this just me?

thats it...

There is no such thing as a a "hires scaler" or "lowres scaler". The two are separate things: we have scalers and resolution settings.

1: we don't have any art for a hood yet. Any volunteers? :-)

right, sorry i knew that but saying the 'pretty' scalers vs the 'ugly' scalers wasnt exactlu good either... maybe detailed vs undetailed?

what i meant was, i cant hotswitch between say point an SuperSaix2, or point Saix2, or point SuperEagle, without causing all sorts of problems. I can switch between point an bilinear without problems,

better now?

hm, I don't have any problems with it.

What OS are you using? Are you running in fullscreen? With what desktop resolution and colourdepth?

I thought about making a hood but then I figured whoever(Colourless?) made the leather helm the shape for the hood really wanted it that way.
I've still got some other art that I just havn't got around to finishing and uploading yet. :)
