I was interested in creating new content like armour, weapons, etc. but am not qouite sure how to do it. Any instruction would be great because they documentation is not very clear on it.

Let me know how it goes. I would be happy to help with what I have figured out.. but I definitely hit a wall and didn't know how to recover from it.

yeah i have made some sprites but i have not been able to get farther

My issue was that I figured out all the content stuff I wanted, I just didn't know how to make it into a mod.
What is it exactly that you are stuck on? Importing the sprite?
Side question: Did you make them in GIMP with the plugin from the downloads section?

no j was unable too downloadd the gimp plugin.
iam stuck at imorting the sprites and making them into items.
I will post some of these sprites when i get the chance... just been busy latley

I may just be failing to understand something, but I'm pretty sure you'll need that plugin so everything is limited to the proper colour pallets.
Did you have troubles installing it? If so, take a look at that thread. I had similar problems. Or alternately I will do my best to explain what I did if you explain the issues you had.
