Exult is for Ultima7 the last time I checked.
(And the acception of Ultima4 engine if you read earlier in the posts.

Stinky, I deleted your post. Posting info on how to download warez/obtain software illegally, regardless of method, is strictly not allowed.

You know some of us who request stuff like this are indeed sincere. I used to own a copy of Ultima Collection but one of my friends nicked and I don't know who it was (although I have my suspicions) and ages ago I actually bought the original copy of Ultima 8 (not the pentagram case, but a re-released version). If I wanted to download Ultima 8, I wouldn't have any trouble finding it, but I not going to disclose such information cause Euler sounds like he hasn't bought it.

You may call us slack and whatever you want but just imagen you bought the latest and greats invention, then about a day later all of your friends got their hands on exactly the same thing for free (although illegaly). I can tell you know that you wouldn't like it.

This saught of thing goes on everyday and we don't want to contribute to it.

The problem is if EA notices people are posting links to their software on this web forum, they might take action to shut the project down.

Like if EA is selling that software in your average local computer shop. Grmmpf. But you are right. .

Thing is, EA _are_ still selling it. I occasionally see copys on budget in my local EB/Game.

EA is still selling the Ultima Collection. I think they only Ultimas they aren't selling anymore are the Worlds of Ultima (IE, Savage Empire and Martian Dreams) and the two Ultima Underworlds. Even if it wasn't so, abandonware is illegal due to the nature of copyrights (Unless somebody wants to shoot Richard Garriot and then wait 50 years, which will then probably have the whole community angry with you), and there is no 24-hour rule for abandonware and ROMs.

Of course, the one exception to this is Ultima 4, which Origin has released on their servers as freeware about two or three years back. I can't find it there anymore, but you could probably find a copy at moongates.com

Imagine you WANT to buy a game which is actually not even yet released and your friends are nearly through it. Its great. But I told them not to tell me ANYTHING or a something like FLAM HUR would happen.. I searched all shops in all neighbour-cities and over a week later I finally bought JediOutcast..*pooh*

I think the force was with me..or was it a virtue?;)
