Wasn't there a hotkey in the original to bring up your backpack, then if you pressed it again, it did the next person's backpack, etc.?

I can't find one. Am I missing it?

no there wasn´t. Only the i key that brings up the inventory

Man, for a second there I thought that topic read 'backpack hockey'.

I know things can be dull in Britannia, but come on!

However, such a hotkey would come in really handy so you don't have to open the inventory first before you can open the backpack. Cycling through the backpacks of the party members would also be really nice.

If it hasn't been removed I once added key-bindings for the keys 1-8 and made those open the different party members inventory - 1 for the avatar, 2 for first NPC in party, 3 for second etc...

Yeah, they're still there, and those are helpful as well, but we still have to press one and then double click the backpack to open it.

We're looking for a hotkey directly to the backpack.

you could use the bracket keys [ ] to move through them. [ for the previous person's backpack, ] for the next person. unless you can actually find an unused key that would work for the backpacks. p is for the picks, b is for the spell book.. i is for the info screen of the players.. just a thought.. maybe z could be used.. z is such a lonely little key nobody uses much

Why not SHIFT + 1-8? Or Numpad 1-8?

eh, i stand corrected! shift 1-8 would be a good combo for the backpacks though. honestly i didnt even know z stats was there.. oops =x maybe i should pay more attention to that key listing..

a Shift + 1-8 for the backback
a Ctrl + 1-8 for the inventory
a Alt + 1-8 for the stats


what about this? this system offers direkt access to the backpacks,...

shortcut keys??? bleh!

give me a tabbed dockable inventory interface and I'll be staring at a BSOD!
