I can't extract this zip file for some reason. When I want to extract it to the exult map, none of them get extracted and I also get an "access denied" error.

Pleas give us more details. Which zip from where? How big? How did you try to unzip and what do you mean with "exult map"?

Whoops, I meant rar, since it's a rar file.
sifixes.rar comes from this site:
http://seventowers.thefeudallands.ca/do ... n=0&page=2
the size of the rar file is 258 kb
I extracted the map "sifixes" to the map "Data" in the map "Exult". This didn't work, so I tried to extract it to the map "Exult". Didn't work either.
Eh, the map "Exult" on my PC...?

no, wait. It is a zip file but I opened it with WinRAR. Thought it was a .rar file for a moment. Sorry 'bout that.

First of all, read
http://exult.info/docs.php#mods_install
Unzip the whole thing to the mod folder of SI. I still don't understand what you mean with map. Is that a translation problem? Is folder or directory equivalent to "map" in belgium? Honestly, I just wonder where that comes from.
Also what operating system are you running? I presume Windows, but which of those?
AND I think the recent upload of the mods at the Exult site is newer:

I really thought "map" was also used for pointing out where to extract them (whatever file you want to extract to which folder that is).
And yes, "map" is what we say against folder and no, it ain't a translation problem, since I know what "folder" and "Directory" mean (unzipped several zDoom wads, Lazarus, U6 Project, ect...), just thought that that word was also used for that in other countries aswell.
I'm using Windows Vista.
I'll do the installation later, since it's really late now, so. I'll post later today (since it's already past 12 AM) whether something went wrong or if this solved the problem.
Also, read somewhere here that people who installed the keyring Mod for BG, saw keys disappearing when they wanted to add them to the keyring. Has this been solved already?

First of all, here's a screenshot of my exult folder:

And one from where SI is installed:

Now tell me where I should make a folder called "Mods", since I don't have one. Also, I don't want to "break" Exult by doing something stupid. and the "readme.txt" file is one big mess. Appearently, this guy never heard of the "Enter" key:

In your si folder.
Don't assume about the readme file, the problem are unix vs windows linebreaks.

Worked like a charm, but when I clicked on "show mods" it said "Wrong Exult version". I'm using 1.4.9 (don't have 1.5.1, because it says "AT YOUR OWN RISK", so I presume it ain't stable yet).

I found out that Krayg says something completely different when you select "Knight". Instead of "If thou aren't a knight, then thou art nothing!", he says "If thou aren't a knight, then perhaps thou should go somewhere else".
