a few Serpents Isle bugs I've noticed

While playing SI again, I've noticed that npcs will bark lines at innappropriate times. For example, the Necromancer of Moonshade will bark lines from the later scenario where he is stranded at the temple. I was waiting on him for a seance in Moonshade and he kept barking lines like "I am lost" and "where am I?". Also, npcs will bark their lines during sleep.
Another bug I've noticed is that combat with ranged weapons isn't functioning properly. Iolo has a crossbow but he gets right in front of someone to shoot, rather than from a distance. I believe this applies to all ranged weapons too.

A few other bugs that I've noticed and reported - beds still don't function correctly. This was reported earlier but never fixed in the latest snapshots. Also, I went ahead and reported a BG bug with the cannons not firing right. It was reported years ago but closed and never fixed.

I'm sure the cannon has been working previously but according to my collection of OS X snapshots it has been broken at least since April 2010. Probably long time before that.
The only reported bug about it has been from 2000 and has been fixed in 2001...

I guess technically this is probably a bug that I remember in the original, not really worth reporting on the bug tracker but I just wonder if anyone else noticed this... when giving Siranush the dream crystal and she brings Edrin to her, right between them is the Comb of Beauty on the ground. I wonder what that is all about? Intentional, or just a bug they left in?

New bugs added to the bugtracker:
-Graze schedule doesn't function correctly as it did in the original. The animals were supposed to use frames (possibly attack frames) making it look like they were eating. It currently just functions like Loiter.
- Castle of the White Dragon books don't explode after mad Iolo does his spiel. The "book opening sound" plays but nothing happens.
