Hi all!

Side note: I love this program and thank you so much for making it ) This is a great game, Ultima VII and I've always wanted to play it on new machine


Question - I wanted to enable the debug menu for Ultima VII 2 and the instructions are as follows - can anyone tell me how to implement this with using Exult?

As with The Black Gate, you can access the Debug Cheat Menu by adding a special
word at the command line.

With Silver Seed: "serpent manimal"
Without Silver Seed: "serpent pass"

In the game, press F2 to bring up the Debug Menu.
F3 to bring up the Teleport Map
F5 casts any spell (hit F5, push number of the spell, select
who gets to cast it, and if needed select what to cast it
on)
4 - dumps contents, used to see what someone is
carrying. Try it on Lord British.

Edit exult.cfg with Notepad and find the line. Add a new line after that and type yes. Save the file (as exult.cfg not exult.cfg.txt) and start Exult. Cheats including a debug menu will be enabled.

IIRC, cheats are enabled by default in Exult; you simply have to press F2. If nothing happens, enable cheats by going to the gameplay menu (see here for more information).

..oops.. darn... I was hoping to see {c} to create an item.. that's what I was wanting to play with.. (not saving of course)... is that not available as is supposedly available ??

To create a new shape, you can use the shape browser; press crtl+h for a list of all cheat keys and look for the browser (I think it is ctrl+b). You search for the shape/frame you want to create with the arrow keys (plus page up and page down), leave the browser and create the shape with 'insert'.
