For some reason, when I try to edit the attributes to an object in exult studio, click on 'apply' and 'ok', and save, the object doesn't save the attribute changes. For example, i was making a barge, and tried to save the object attribute 'barge'. i'd click apply, ok, then save all, click on the object again and it didn't save. Why is it doing that?

I'm very sorry that there is so little feedback to your questions. I wish I could help you with your U6 project

I fear that the developers of Exult/Studio have lost interest & walked away...
My fiancé & I have purchased a new home & thus I have put off work on The Savage Empire Remake. If there will be no more support or new information or updates to Exult/Studio, I wonder if I should go on at all. I have reached out to the Ultima community & nothing has transpired.
I am sorry for that, for I was making progress & was seriously looking forward to U6 Exult.

It seems to not save if it is a generic barge part type. You shouldn't need it for generic barge parts though (just the flag should be fine). All the others seem to save.

I was experimenting with the barge stuff so I can figure out how to make the skiffs from U6. Initially, I just need something for a raft, that you can click on and ride without a deed or anything. I do plan on making rafts only for a party of 4, and anything more would be "too heavy" for the raft, so you would have to buy the ships. As far as carrying a skiff, not sure how I'm going to do that yet. I have a few ideas but nothing on paper yet.
Sythifuge, I hope you continue with your project when things settle down for you. I'm getting pretty good with usecode stuff so let me know if you ever need help.

If you figure it out or get an answer, that would be great! I am facing a similar dilemma with Savage Empire rafts.
I will probably continue to draw Ultima-esque stuff after a bit more settling in of the house, including Savage Empire. I have had early rafts for a while now though an update is in order. I have many more ideas for trees & plants, plus completing milestones that will bother me forever if I fail to finish them.
I thank you for your offer of aid, agentorangeguy! Let me know if you need any artwork. I will see what I can do! I draw more than SE stuff for fun & practice.
One thing that I am hoping for is that there will be more improvements & upgrades to Exult/Exult Studio. Marzo had mentioned something about doing something that would allow larger objects to be created (which is a necessity for dinosaurs!).
Sometimes I get disillusioned, yet I always come back..
