Intermittent Freezing in Britain

I noticed it the last time I went to Britain. The mouse cursor and game lock up for a moment every couple of seconds. If I hold down the right mouse button while in my carriage, I can move unhindered until I release the button, at which point the freezes become very long.

Leaving the city fixed the problem, it seems. No lag upon reentering Britain, either. Should I send in the savegame in which the freezing occurred? Also, is it normal that the food piles in Britain castle and the Blue Boar are getting extremely high?

Version? I think food piles are fixed in snapshots. Freezing could be related or the disappearing objects bug...

Running the latest version.

I left my carriage at the entrance to Lord British's castle and played for quite sometime. When I walked back to Brit, things were fine until I walked on-screen with the carriage. Quite strange.
