I've been adding to my Game Font Database for awhile now, and I think it's a testament the Ultima series to know that it has more fan-made fonts created for it than any other game series.

I'm curious if anyone here has an Ultima font that I've missed.

The Ultimap Fonts were the creation of Trigon Dragon (Scott Leonard). Unfortunately his site has vanished with the recent AOL deletion of all their customers homepages.

There's an Ophidian font I'd saved from somewhere years ago now available at http://www.ultimaaiera.com/category/gen ... ima-fonts/

There are also a couple of non-TTF fonts of the ingame Martian Dreams and Savage Empire game fonts. There are download links in a post on http://nuvie.sourceforge.net/phorum/rea ... 811,page=2
They look best at about 10 point size.

Oh yes. For what it's worth, the Avatar font is based on the Ultima logo on the boxes, but if you check the titles on the Underworld games, you'll find the original is a different font. I've seen it crop up on book titles and artwork occasionally.

I was pretty sure that OSI didn't create the Ultima title font. They used it on the box art of Ultima 1 back in 1981 and I highly doubt they had the funds to create a unique typeset when they were still basically working out of a garage. If anyone discovers the original font that it is based off of, please let me know.
