Is this a bug?

Or more accurately, is this a *known* bug in CVS version?

Specifically, I do this: Without ever restoring a savegame, in BG, I play through Trinsic. Then I tiptoe to Britain.

Outside the theatre, Iolo says they're doing a play about the Avatar. I walk in. No one's there.

Quick save, quick restore. Boom! The actors pour in through the doors and start doing their stuff.

This is not the only case where it happens; sometimes folks just forget to do what the schedule asks them to do, and when I save and restore, they go "where was I? Oh yeah" and rush off.

It has happened to me for a while; I've now completely reinstalled Exult so I don't guess it's the setup. (I'm in Linux, if that helps any.)

It could be a bug, but there's another possibility: If the 3-hour schedule time changed just before you entered, it might take several seconds for the actors to walk in. But if you saved, then restored, I think we might move the actors there immediately.

But then, I guess that would be a bug too:-) Well, one of us will have to try it.

OK, it *could* be that. I just tried to do that and it could be that since the game begins so early in the morning, everyone really *is* sleeping and wakes up around the time I finally get to Britain. Can't be 100% sure though...

I think it is. I had noticed something similar when making mods, but it was some time ago and I forgot about it; in any reason, it was for that reason that the Keyring mod starts at 5:59 AM instead of 6:00 AM (although the difference is hardly noticeable in play).

Guess I won't worry about it too much, then.
