I can't find a readme or install or anything that describes how I make this thing work with Ultima 7 once I download it. Can anyone tell me how or direct me to somewhere that will?

What is the flag that triggers the training pikeman to show up? He isn't showing up.

I already saved... I'm not a dumbass, I've tried everyhting I could think of.
I don;t want to start over. Isn't there a flag? I thought once there was. I have nevr played SI all the way through because of this bug. Help me out please.

You can still train with Tsandar in the Silver Seed (I think he gives +2 combat, +1 str), so not being able to get into the pit isn't that important.

Hey dom? chill out ok? I didn't figure my problem was important enough to start a new thread. And i am not changing my name, i just didn't have time to log in.

I'm chilled (nope, actually I'm running a fever). I just don't like it when there are problems posted that have been addressed in the FAQ AND have nothing to do with the original thread.

As for the pikeman you can finish the game without him. Dupre's shield you can get once the banes are free (AFAIR).

It ain't stupid... I wasn't asking how to prevent it. That WAS adressed in the faq. I was merely asking how to reverse it. Without him I can't level up. SO, just lay off. I am not pissed, I just need respect. and I hate having to beg for it around here.

Ehhh... read my earlier post - you can still train (Tsandar and Elissa in the Silver Seed and Wilfred after the banes attack). Tsandar's available at the beginning of the game, so the fact that you can't get into the pit really isn't relevant, unless you REALLY need more dex from Shazzana (which I've never used)

There are a few simple things you can do to avoid having to 'beg' for repect. First, do NOT hijack other people's threads to ask completely unrelated questions; make your own threads intead. Second, avoid changing names; it is annoying. You could have, instead, appended '(not logged in)' to your name. Third, actually read and acknowledge what people say; you apparently didn't notice that Dom asked you twice, and Wizardry once, that you do not hijack threads.

Fourth, don't use abusive language in your posts, you don't have to be using expletives to be abusive, and if you want to have respect, you have to give it first.
