Patches?

Hi all:
I'm running Windows 2000 and the newest version of Exult, 1.4. I've been trying to get patches to work by adding the following into my exult.cfg:
C:\Games\Ultima\Exult\islefaq
C:\Games\Ultima\Exult\quests_and_interactions
C:\Games\Ultima\Exult\ultima6patch
I tried it without the full path and I still had the same problem. I did this, then started a new BG game (I wanted to try to U6 patch), but there was no affect. This is what stdout.txt says:
