2 Major bugs

I rebegin Serpent's isle and I find two bugs

1)In the test of knighthood I can't open the chest by combat in the gremlin room

2)The guards of monitor attack me, even I stole anything

lol u probably have an older version and the guards only attack you if you take to long finding Lord Marsten

Talking about attacking guards I guess I'll mention a bug I've come across. The people practicing in the training hall next to the List Field in Monitor deal damage when practicing with each other. This will soon result in somebody dying. And soon the local guards will arrive thinking I killed somebody.

That is Achille's bug above. Although had he said it like you did, it would have been much easier to squash it...

Yeah, I figured we might have been suffering from the same bug. Since we're on the subject of bugs... Right from the beginning of a new game it seems like almost every NPC in Serpent Isle is wielding something in their hand. For example Lydia in Monitor has her poisoned dagger out which I'm certain isn't supposed to happen. It's not just weapons either. In Moonshade I've seen Ernesto wielding a candle and Ducio with tongs.

Another bug I've noticed is that you can move around at the beginning of Ultima 7 before the Avatar appears from the moongate. You can interact with the environment as well but walls stop you. It seems like the Avatar sprite is simply invisible until the moongate appears.

This one should already be fixed in today's snapshot; I had found and fixed it yesterday.

Good work, that snapshot fixes a bunch of the bugs I've encountered. But now EVERY SINGLE chest in Serpent Isle comes equipped with poison, charm, curse and paralysis traps!

I think the latest snapshot introduced this bug: I can't tell Kylista about the breastplate after asking Jendon about it.

Nope, it is right there in the usecode. When you ask Jendon, Kylista or Standarr (in Monitor) about the breastplate, it sets flag 0x294 which prevents you from asking anyone else about the armor.

That's not right... I can only mention the breastplate to Kylista if I haven't asked anybody else about it. If I ask Jendon about it, I can't mention the breastplate to Kylista, which means that I can't give it to her and she won't tell me that it was swapped with the magical armor. You shouldn't be prevented from asking Kylista about the breastplate, should you?
