Gargoyles in Vesper

is it possible to resurrect the gargoyles after they attack you? Both Jaana and Lord British refuse to acknowledge their presence. I never followed what the guardian told me to do until now. "Tell them you are the Avatar....."

So do the bodies just lay there forever? It would be nice to bury them or something.....
