Resolution Options For Exult The Program Itself

On some monitors if you don't set the display to your native resolution you get a slightly blurred effect compared to what I get on my old crt. Even though there's in game resolution options, it seems like the games will never look right unless I can get the client running fullscreen in my native resolution.

I tried looking in the config, but didn't see anything. If no one has any ideas, dost thou know of a program that can force a program to run in a specified resolution?

That's just the way it is with nowadays TFT/LCD monitors. Everything lower than their native resolution will get scaled and thus will look blury.
Old CRTs are just way better than this because they work in other resolutions as well.
There is no way to force all programs to run in a specified resolution and it still being sharp, because essentially what you want is exactly what the TFT/LCD monitors are doing :(
With Exult you can use the built in scaler (especially the point one) to get your native resolution.

A lot of TFT monitors run at 1280x1024. If you run at 320x256 with 4x Point Scaling (set in the config file) it will be crisp, but as it is only doing point scaling it will be very blocky. If it were possible to chain scalers, it would be handy.

Indeed, the point setting is what I've been using. Kind of blocky, but I like it's better than the other settings. Thanks for the insight guys.
