Hi everyone. I have been playing this wonderful game from time to time; but today, trying to install exult gives me this error.
Runtime Error (at -1: 0)
Cannot Import
dll: c: /users/user/appdata/local/temp/CARPETA/exconfig.dll

The only exult I find to install is exult-1.4.9rc1-win32, which used to work perfectly for me, I have downloaded it again (I can't find any 1.5.x) and it only gives that error; I don't know how this can be fixed but it is making me desperate.

Someone happened and managed to install it? Thank you

Hmm, you are not the first to report this but I couldn't reproduce it on any of my machines. Which version of Windows are you using?
And can you see whether an Anti-Virus program blocked it?
And please try emptying your cache and download it again.

And if I understand correctly you also encountered this with the 1.4.9rc1, right?
So that really points me at a problem with Windows, Anti-Virus or something. Since we haven't done anything with that for years
(and you really shouldn't use it)

Same thing for me too! First time ever installing Exult. Disabled AV - nothing.

Which version of Windows? and if it is Windows 10, please include the build. What browser did you use for downloading?

I need these answers to get behind this.
