I know this isn't an Exult specific question, but has anyone been able to find out if the guy who build the U7 BG Google map (http://www.kxmode.com/u7map/#3/-60.02/-45.97) will make one for SI?

I read somewhere that he planned to make a SI map, but it hasn't happened yet.

And on an Exult related note, would zooming in and out be something that could ever be added to the Exult engine?

His GitHub link isn't all that active, and he last made a mapper commit in 2017. I suppose you could reach out and ask. Remember though the SI map is an ungodly place.

Exult has scalers that are available via the video options.

And yes, you can zoom in/out in map edit mode

I am and I've been working on it for quite awhile (It's not an easy map to traverse). Good news is that I am nearing completion.

I'm pleased I found Amazon Web Services early on for all the map tiles. Not only are they serve up blazing fast but done on the cheap. I pay about $1.50 per month. I'm not sure how many people have use it, but I assume after eight years the URL has been passed around for many Ultima fans to use and enjoy.

Aaaaah that is so cool! I had no idea that map existed! You've done a true service to the community, dear sir. I deeply look forward to the new map. I keep introducing people to Ultima 7 and its rampant interactivity, and any new map that exists will be very helpful.

So I was searching around the web looking for serpent isle maps and came across this forum post. Not trying to bug anyone but ive noticed its been about a year since anyone posted on this topic last. Is there any new information or updates on the progress of Kxmode's Serpent Isle map? Would really really really love access to it. =D
