just out of curiosity can you get into the mint i tried lockpics for the heck of it and it didnt work.

yeah, you can (the mint is the place with gold, right?). you need to kill the woman who works in it and you get the key - don't do it though :=)

You can kill the bank teller when no one is around, take the keys off her corpse, then take her to Lord British to get her resurrected for free. Then, at your convience, enter the mint and exchange it for coins.

You can also just steal the key from her room while she is sleeping

I remember being so excited about finding that out, the first time I played. I went to where she lived at night, and tried to steal the key, and she attacked me. So in self defense, I killed her (:P) and when I looked on the corpse I saw all the keys. After finding out that they unlocked the vaults, I prayed and prayed that LB would be able to resurrect her, and that I could exchange all the gold I got. I was sooo happy when it worked. I wish I could play U7 for the first time again.

well, yes, but that only give u the key to the first room which doesnt have a lotta gold. the other keys are on her. i also remembered in the original if u exchanged all the gold and killed her again, u could take the gold back from her, and re-exchange it, i dunno about exult though

I should say though that I hunt the red dragons. Those drakes in the original U7 are ultra deadly. It was like they had machine gun dragon breath and decimated the party in no time.

harpies where rather deadly aswell and are by far one of my favourites
