The plugin works fine with both 32- and 64-bit Gimp versions, BUT the default location of where the plugin should be installed to has changed.
It best needs to go into c:/users/yourusername/.gimp-2.8.xxx/plug-ins
And then you need to restart Gimp

I did as yue wrote but ider i did somthing wrong or what do they men wit this?
"Drag and drop *.shp files into the Gimp. You don't need to select a palette file (press either "Ok" or "Cancel").
- edit (see the Gimp manual on how to edit graphics)
- save"

I hawe tryed drag chapes from exolt studios to Gimp but it didnt work.

Save in Studio as shp file then drag'n'drop from explorer to Gimp.

You should be able to use Exult Studio to open the shape files with GIMP by selecting edit without having to save as shp first. I don't think I ever got it to work in the newer versions of GIMP.
