I've imported a few shapes of people from serpent isle into blackgate, is there a way to associate a paperdoll to these shapes? right now they have amulets for heads and no bodies, is there a way to give them normal paperdolls?

I would recommend checking out paperdol_info.txt in Marzo's Keyring Mod since he did this very thing for Mariah to make he joinable.
The mod of course is for the Black Gate.

The mod is here: http://seventowers.u7feudallands.com/do ... ?section=0

thank you, I hadn't seen that before... some of these things are becoming a bit more clear, but it looks like just a list that references variables that are set in another file - as it says "Derived from gumps/Paperdoll_gump_info.cc"... it does not seem as though it would do much to change information in the .txt file... and I can't figure out how to find anything with a .cc , or even find that sort of file or a gumps directory. am I completely missing something here?

You don't need to worry about the ".cc" bit; ages ago, paperdoll data was hard-coded in one such file, which is where I got the data from. You can simply edit the txt file and put it in your game/mod's patch folder.

For a more complete example, you can look at the paperdol_info.txt file that comes bundled in Exult_XX.flx; you can get them here: BG's data, SI's data.
