Hi Guys,
Kudos on a job well done. - Great resource here to, many thanks!!!
Anyway, hopin someone can helpout.
I'm running Exult on my macbook Pro OSX 10.5.
Besides a few crashes etc I have now gotten stuck with a "corrupt?" savegame.
Both my son and I are playing and he's doing SI while I'm doing BG.
Somewhere along the way, it seems I have loaded my save game under the SI identity or something, as when ever I try to load my game up under BG, it says wrong identity "silver seed" open anyway?
I proceed and the game loads ok, however no buildings have any furnishings in them. Take a walk around and the furnishings are all over the meadows and sea. kinda like the active layer has moved from the build / terrain / tile layer???
I tried "help" in the hopes that porting to Lord British might reset the map but it hasn't.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can save my save game and return to the real (ultima) world at all?
Please???
Many thanks in advance and in hope

Re: wrong identity "*" open anyway - when loading
Hi,
First of all, which version are you running? 1.2 or a snapshot? (I'm recommending the snapshots, btw, though that will require some reorganization from you http://exult.info/docs.php#path_config_osx)
That the games get mismatched like you described is not really possible without manually mixing up things.
Try to load an older savegame to see which savegame is the bad one.
For further help I need to know which version you are running
