[17:38:31] <Colourless> people like to blame ea for the volunteer issue, but it's actually the us government/legal system which caused the problems
[17:39:37] <Colourless> something about the volunteers could be seen as employees of EA and as such they would be being paid less than the minimum wage or some such rubish
[17:40:23] <Colourless> could also be a secondary reason where EA might be held accountable for the actions of the volunteers

[18:03:04] <Baastuul> I've been on dial-up for years because there isn't any broadband out where I live (barring satellite connections, but we all know that those connections suck). I played UO for about a year or so on dial-up, it wasn't too terrible. But there certainly were some annoying moments.
[18:03:17] <Baastuul> I also played Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds and Dark Age of Camelot over dial-up for quite a while.
[18:03:31] <WishStone> I'm not even on dail-up now... I'm on ISDN... but an unstaible con.
