[07:08:08] <sbx> I'd suggest some great wastes of bandwidth now that you got broadband, but I have a feeling you already know many.

[07:08:36] <Baastuul> To be honest, though, I'd prefer it if I paid for my own domain and hosting. I feel like such a mooch using somebody's elses without paying.

[07:09:00] <Baastuul> It's also slow because my upload isn't as fantastic as I thought it'd be. I was expecting upload speeds of 1.2 Mbps, but I guess I was mistaken.
[07:09:25] <Baastuul> I get my wireless service through an ISP called Wind Wireless. They have numerous towers, but the service that my tower comes through is one in a town 8.9 miles from my house.
[07:09:34] <Baastuul> Speeds vary, but they're usually pretty good.
[07:09:35] <sbx> I mooch off of someone's email service and complain to them when it doesn't work. :)

[07:11:06] <Baastuul> No, I was expecting that speed because that's what the site surveyor told me it'd be. But it turns out that it's only around 160 Kbps to 256 Kbps or so.

[07:12:09] <Baastuul> My upload speed is good enough, I guess. I don't upload gigantic files.
